We are frequently sanitizing and cleaning all high-touch surfaces. The frequency of cleaning and disinfecting has been increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces and high touch items.

Safety Plan

Creating an environment that is safe for our valued Guests and Team Members is a priority for our company. To that end, we have developed and implemented a comprehensive health and safety program across all of our properties. Designed to comply with applicable federal, state and local guidelines, our procedures focus on the Guest experience and Team Member interaction.

Our Team Members have received mandatory comprehensive initial and ongoing training on proper safety, social distancing, hand washing, cleaning, and disinfecting protocol, including proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

We are working closely with public health officials and adhering to guidelines set forth by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, and the US Environmental Protection Agency to take our already stringent safety and cleaning standards to the highest level.

Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting procedures will be followed to the extent allowable according to local gaming regulations. Should a gaming regulator require a more detailed or specific process or require an alteration to these procedures, we will follow the gaming regulatory guidance in addition to these procedures.

Q: Is your property opening?

Yes! We are excited that the time has come to open our property on Friday, June 19 at 6:00AM EST.  In an effort to make your return one that you can feel confident in and enjoy, we are taking every precaution to ensure your safety, comfort and peace of mind. We look forward to sharing exciting times and unforgettable experiences with you. Most of all, we look forward to seeing you again.

Q: When will you reopen, and what are the hours of operation for the Racino?

The property will reopen on Friday, June 19 at 6:00AM EST and will be open 24/7.

Q: Will you be sending out a letter or other info detailing plans about reopening, (I don’t use technology, email/social media)?

Currently we do not plan to send out mail.  If you are not active on social media you may call us for the most up-to-date information at 1-614-295-4700.

Q: Is Hampton Inn and Suites open?

The hotel is open.  You can make reservations by calling 614-491-3800 or visiting their website.

Q: Will the restaurants/bars be open?

Dash Café: Grab & Go -  Friday/Saturday -  8am-2am; Sunday-Thursday - 8am-Midnight

                         Hot Food - Friday/Saturday -  11am-1am; Sunday-Thursday 11am-11pm

Q: Are there any new safety protocols in place?

Yes, we have enacted several new safety and cleanliness protocols per the requirements set forth by the Ohio Governor’s Office and the Centers for Disease Control. Please visit our property website at for more information regarding our Health & Safety Plan.

Q: Are masks required at Eldorado Scioto Downs?

 Yes, to ensure the safety of our guests, a company-wide policy was implemented on July 2nd, requiring all team members, guests, vendors and suppliers to wear a mask while on property except while eating or drinking. 

Q: Will you supply a mask if I don’t have one?

Yes, complimentary masks will be provided to any guest that needs one. Simply stop by the main, hotel or smoking patio entrance at Eldorado Scioto Downs and we’d be happy to supply you with one.

Q: Where are masks required?

Face masks are required everywhere on property with the exception of while eating or drinking. Also, where permitted, when guests are smoking masks are allowed to be pulled down. 

Q: How do I get my win/loss statement?

Win and Loss statements can be requested by visiting the Guest Service Center or accessing our online form here.

Q: Am I still able to cash in winning Ohio Lottery tickets once the property reopens?

Yes, you can cash your winning lottery tickets by going to the Guest Service Center.  This service will be available daily from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
